Choose Hi-Tek Color Printing?
Hi-Tek
Color is a special process developed by Express Line which delivers
precision continuous tone printing and maintains brilliant color!
If your order can be reproduced on white, natural or ash T-shirts,
Hi-Tek Color may be the best method for you. Available in quantities
as low as 72 pieces, with a low set-up charge of only $75, Hi-Tek
Color is terrific for reproducing photographs, digital graphic
files, and jobs requiring the most intricate detail.
What
kind of art should be provided?
Computer
files provided should be a minimum of 300dpi at 100% size for
optimum
quality print, and can be sent on CD, 100 or 250MB Zip Disk, or
email. Macintosh programs include Adobe Photoshop 7 and Illustrator
10, QuarkXpress 4, or Macromedia Freehand 10. Save files in native,
editable format. Provide placed CMYK images (TIFF or EPS) and
fonts.
A match color laser print or better output from the file is required
for predictable color reproduction. Ink jet prints and web graphics
are not suitable for printing or proofing! Please label all disks
and only include required files. Rectangle mouse pad corner radius
is 3/4". Full imprint mouse pad requires an extra 3/8"
bleed and 3/8" allowance inside pad for text and important
graphics. For slides and transparencies, send a signed waiver
from
the owner and add $75 for digiatl conversion. Original art over
11"x17" will incur and add'l art charge. Art may be

Special
Considerations
To maintain brightest, most vivid color reproduction, we suggest
using white shirts. When using process color, varying 1 color will
affect the other colors in the image. Depending on the exact reproduction
requirements, exact PMS color matching may not be achieveable. Digital
printing is directly related to climatic conditions. Therefore there
can be slight variances in the process from proof-to-run and job-to-job.
What's
the difference between 4 color process and Hi-Tek Color?
In selecting a multi-color printing method, the following considerations
should be made. If your order can be reproduced on white, natural
or ash T-shirts and the quantity is under 500 pieces, Hi-Tek Color
may be the best method for you. For most larger runs, and those
with dark shirts, we recommend four color process. Both processes
are great for reproducing special effects such as feathering, textures,
and blends.
